Admazely was founded in 2011 by David Björklund (Computer Science degree at KTH in Stockholm), Søren Holbech (Machince Learning PhD at Aalborg University), Sylwia Erhardt-Bednarska (Computer Science and Business Administration at Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu in Warsaw) and Peter Vilsholm Therkildsen Schlegel.
In April of 2012 Admazely took venture funding from SEED Capital and local angel investors. In May 2012 first public version of its product was launched.

Admzaly has developed an advertising retargeting platform (ads targeted at people who have already visited an online shop but not bought anything) that is stunningly simple and requires no integration with the online retailer’s existing infrastructure. Using proprietary machine learning algorithms, Admazely analyzes the online retailer’s website to identify products and categories, subsequently presenting these in a visually clean user interface for the customer to edit and manage - much like Google Adwords.
The current infrastructure is built using node.js and NoSQL databases Redis and Riak for the majority of the platform. The machine learning environment is developed mainly in Python.
